In case you shouldn't know: Axe Snake Peel is a shower gel that has been introduced somewhere by the end of 2004, if I recall correctly. It's one of these every day products you use and use and forget about it. If you run out of it you simply go to the super market and buy a new one.
A few days ago, the super market had a surprise for me: Axe Snake Peel got a new skin!
What's it about? | |

I don't know about you. But if things I use all the time change all of a sudden, I'm sceptic about that. I'm the kind of guy who uses products he likes and stops using things he doesn't like. I've been very satisfied with Snake Peel. Also, there's some form of bonding to things you like. The sand (or something similar) mixed to it seems to be good for my skin. My skin is a bit problematic, I don't know the right words to describe it. |
What's new | |

First of all: The obvious. The shape changed. I must admit, it's a bit more recognizable. But it also looks cheap in a way. All new Axe shower gels seem to look that way now. With different colours and names of course. On the other hand, I liked the old shape better. It was not that 'Straight in your face'. A bit more conservative, more balanced, nicer. The not so obvious: A third language for the ingredients on the back of the bottle. "NL" (Dutch), added to German and French. Content wise, both bottles contain 250ml. |
